AI, Equity, and The PowHer Experience

I recently had the privilege of facilitating at a fantastic conference, The PowHer Experience, and I was struck by the sheer number of attendees and also the way they got there.

The organizer, Nikkia McClain, worked with sponsors to ensure free attendance for every participant. This single move unlocked the room, creating an incredibly diverse group of women who might have otherwise been excluded due to cost.

The content, especially the sessions on AI skills for small business that I presented, was all about immediate, tactical application. Seeing the buzz in the room as participants trialed AI tools in real time was extremely rewarding.
