Leading Women Defined is a powerful convening that drives connection, encourages vulnerability, and facilitates the most meaningful discussions that today’s leaders need to be engaging in. It pours into me every year and this year was no different. Debra Langford urged us to think about the ROI that we are bringing back and per usual, I am bringing back more than expected.
Key highlights for me:
- Intimate conversations with powerful women who aren’t afraid to be vulnerable. I felt seen through the experiences shared.
- Hearing from leaders at the top of their field on topics like innovation, government, health, and creativity. I was especially moved by hearing from Dr. Kimberlé Crenshaw on her work with intersectionality and what that means in this season.
- Tapping into my own creativity with a collage masterclass by THEE Mickalene Thomas. What a memorable experience. I will carry this with me.
- The fashion. I’m blown away & inspired by all the looks every time. It’s great to see other leaders embrace their multifacetedness and not be afraid to show that they are very layered.
I’m walking away with so much gratitude and excitement to bring what I learned back to my business. Thank you Debra Lee & Gabrielle Glore for having the vision for this convening.
