Lessons from the NYC Marathon Finish Line

In 2017, I ran the NYC Marathon. It was a grind that forced focus and extreme discipline, a personal lesson in sustained effort.
Years later, my firm, C-Suite Coach, landed New York Road Runners as a client for our executive coaching and leadership training programs. It was a surreal, full-circle moment.
This year, I was at the finish line watching the runners stream in. It was an incredible reminder that the lessons I learned running the race, perseverance and resilience, are the same ones we translate into business value for our clients, helping them with communication, influence, and conflict.
The most profound realization? The organizations we partner with who achieve the greatest outcomes are those, like NYRR, who treat developing their talent with the same unwavering commitment as a marathon runner treats their final mile. Thank you @Erica Edwards O'Neal, Maria Note, and Antoinette Gardner for your partnership this year and for the way you show up for your team members! Thank you Ahtziry Campos for making my in-person trainings run seamlessly!
