The Career Curator Framework at Zero Bond

Our continued C-Suite Coach partnership with Zero Bond provides a vital platform for leaders to engage in deep, strategic work. In our recent Women’s leadership brunch, we shared the C-Suite Coach Career Curator framework.
* Career Curators treat their professional journey as a collection of high-impact "exhibits." This requires the strategic selection of roles, projects, and networks that align with a core long-term vision.
* Every move is evaluated by its ability to add specific value to a leader's unique narrative and legacy. We focused heavily on the themes of imposters anxiety and the internal friction that often accompanies significant growth.
* To remedy these challenges, we discussed auditing the language we use to describe our own achievements and ensuring it reflects our objective value.
We did an “exhibition appraisal” activity, where we asked the leaders to evaluate areas where they may be discounting themselves through questions like: What specialized, rare skills do you possess that your peers do not? What critical organizational problem are you uniquely positioned to solve right now? And many others.
We talked about the importance of financial planning for gaining more career leverage and ask the women to discuss: what’s one financial habit or boundary that you have been tolerating that is actually costing you leverage?
Spaces like Zero Bond are essential for this work. Coming together to be vulnerable and share challenges is a prerequisite for sustaining ourselves as leaders. As always, I learned as much from the women in the room as I shared.
