My year in grad school Wake Forest University was a sprint, but the relationships forged that time into memory. I remember the international service trips, like Project Nicaragua where we provided pro bono marketing expertise to help local entrepreneurs scale. Later, traveling with HanesBrands to see their sales process at Target in Minnesota gave me a front-row seat to high-level B2B operations. My experience was a deep dive into real-world leadership and problem-solving.
This past week, The Brunswick Group hosted a Wake Forest holiday mixer and catching up with other alums and staff confirmed that even as our school keeps evolving, the core warmth and genuine connection that built us up then still remains. It was great to reconnect with Ajay Patel, Stacy Owens, Sharron Vogler and to meet Annette L. Ranft, Katy Mars, and Michael Brinson.
