Recently, at a SCHIAPARELLI brand event, I connected with a leader in my space. At a MONSE NYFW fashion show, I met an incredible biotech founder doing game changing work. My shoes at a recent Martha’s Vineyard event opened up a conversation that might lead to business.
I once fell for the notion that there was only one way to show up and be received as a credible expert in your business area & I felt so confined by that idea. I’m grateful that my executive coach, mentors, and friends challenge me to be more in alignment with myself. And in doing so, I’m building relationships where my authenticity is embedded from the very start. Leadership does not have a “look.” It can be as versatile as we allow ourselves to be.
