Grow with Google AI Training Supports LA's Wildfire Recovery Efforts

Incredibly inspired after a powerful event focused on LA wildfire recovery. I had the privilege of leading a Grow with Google training session on AI for a group of resilient small business owners.

The event, which included Rep. Kamlager-Dove and partners like the LA County Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) and TMC Community Capital, announced a critical $4.5M in funding to support businesses still rebuilding. I was truly in awe of the group’s engagement. The quality of questions and the excitement around how AI could be a tool for future growth was remarkable. One story in particular will stay with me. A business owner shared how, after losing everything in the fires, she turned to AI to help her ideate and build new business concepts from scratch. Her story of resilience and using technology to rebuild from the ground up was a powerful testament to the human spirit. Excited to support her Pinata business going forward.
